Le Saut du Loup

Commençons par le commencement!
Le saut du Loup est un restaurant situé sur la rue de Rivoli.
Juste à côté du musée des Arts Décoratifs.

Le décor est simple mais élégant.
Au niveau cuisine on peut parler de semi-gastro...

1st Course:
Soupe (I think there was carrott & pumkin because it tasted really sweet!)


2nd Course: Tuna Tartare with Lentils Salad.
It was served on a plate made of slate.
I thought it was a great presentation.
The tuna was well seasoned but the lentils were a little dull...


Ting's 3rd Course: Poulet caramelisé & son risotto aux petits pois.

I was extremely disappointed with that dish.
I love risotto. That one was good but it didn't go well with the chicken & the sauce.
Chicken: Well cooked. A little too sweet.

3rd Course: Tuna steak with Sautéd Vegetables.
This was my dish.
I've never had a tuna steak until that night.
I think the fish was a little undercooked.
And that sauce! OMG it was just as sweet as caramel!

Last course: Faux Tiramisu à la Pomme.
That (& the soup) was the best part of the meal.
But I think that's because I'm a dessert person.
I love SUGAR & Everything that is Sweet! (not my fish though...)
It was good.

Overall, it was an alright diner.
Thanks to my wonderful cousin for inviting me!
